Provides person-centered support to assist young adults with disabilities to become prepared for the workforce and achieve gainful employment in the community. Services include an employment training program, support employment, prevocational services, and pathway to employment.

Provides the following services for residents of Freeport: emergency food, clothing, education and job referrals, help acquiring insurance, Medicaid. Thrift Shop relocated to 87 Pine St. Freeport, offering low cost clothing and household items.

Provides help to individuals who have been diagnosed with mental health conditions and have had difficulty obtaining or maintaining competitive employment. The program assists people in finding employment, of their choice, in the community. Staff provide on or off-site job coaching and support to ensure that once employed, a person can learn the job duties, feel comfortable in the work environment, and have supportive relationships with supervisors and co-workers. When the person and the employer feel the employment situation is stable, an employment specialist can provide ongoing support.

Devoted to assisting residents of the county to find employment. It is the aim of the Job Development Center to assist all residents, with emphasis on minority group members, in achieving this goal. The center also refers applicants to job training, alerts the community to upcoming Civil Service examinations and county job opportunities.
