Job Assist offers teens, ages 14-21, employment training and placement services. Job assist recruits employers and individuals who are looking to fill a variety of jobs and matches them with teens looking for employment.

Other services include job coaches that assist with learning soft skills that include, but are not limited to finding and maintaining employment, transportation, and social conduct in the workplace.

Services include computer training, tutoring and job placement. The objectives are to promote self-esteem, teamwork, leadership and professionalism.

Resource room includes access to personal computers, fax machine, and internet access for job search. Partners from various agencies provide basic information on a variety of services. NYS Department of Labor staff are available to assist with job search. Intensive services may include skill assessment, career counseling, and tuition assistance.
