Offers paid summer internship in Retail Advertising you will be responsible for selling and servicing new and existing accounts within specific sales territories. Ideally you will possess innovative problem solving skills, strong organizational/time management skills and excellent interpersonal/presentation skills. Maintains a list of jobs available, for local youth ages 14-21 in the community, of part-time work throughout the year, or full or part-time summer jobs, and also keeps a listing of community service opportunities.

Encourages youth to establish a good work ethic through employment and workshops. Promotes punctuality, teamwork, how to follow rules and regulations, as well as respect of self, co-workers and supervisors. At- risk youth are selected between the ages of 14-18. Interviews are held in May and orientation in June. Employment is seven weeks, Monday-Friday. Worksites are established within the community at local churches, schools, agencies, parks and beaches. Workshops are given throughout the program in areas such as Banking, Job Attitudes, Career Goals, Job Interviewing and Resume Writing. Upon completion of the program is an Awards Lunch where every youth receives an award. Call for further information.
