Provides the following services. Employment Readiness: Career counseling, career exploration, career advisement, resume preparation, interviewing assistance, online video interview assistance, and custom made workshops. Job Search Assistance: Access to computer labs, copy service, free mailing, current job listings, labor market information, job fairs, job clubs, and "Meet the Employers" on-site career fairs, where employers are on-site to recruit and interview job seekers. Career Advancement and Training Grants: Connected education, training programs, and support services that enable individuals to secure a job or advance in an in-demand industry or occupation. Training grants available for in-demand occupations such as Nursing, HVAC, Machining, CDL, Mechanics, Accounting, and over 50 additional occupations. Job Training: High school equivalency diploma classes, soft skills classes, and training on computer and internet use, keyboarding, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, and Intermediate/Advanced Excel and Word. Adult Services - Community Services for Every1

Works to empower individuals with developmental disabilities, youth and adults with chronic health conditions and complex mental health concerns, and survivors of domestic violence to live as independently as possible. Community Support Services - Arc Erie County New York

Provides a variety of services in home and community based settings to assist with improving the quality of life for people with disabilities and their families via OPWDD and OMH. Children & Youth Services - Community Services for Every1

Offers a number of programs designed to meet the needs of children with developmental disabilities and their caregivers. Workforce Development / Vocational Programs - VIA

Offers short term career training programs focusing on employment skills and placement services for visually impaired individuals. Both online and in-house courses are available which focus on computer skills, customer service skills, telecommunications, and work readiness. Emphasis is placed on computer skills including Microsoft Office, Assistive Technology, and hands on experiential learning. Also provides employment services including resume development, interviewing skills training, career counseling, and job search/placement support. Program is open Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4pm in-house; specific course hours will vary, or be available as online offerings.

RAMAPO LEADERSHIP PROGRAM | RAMAPO FOR CHILDREN

This is an exciting and challenging program designed to build community and strengthen peer leadership skills in teens. Activities are crafted for success and achievement, require full participation and promote improved decision making, problem solving, and communication skills. The program's goal is to work with young people who are struggling to overcome difficult situations, and guide them toward higher education and purposeful employment. Participants attend one of the three, 3-week summer sessions and then attend weekend activities at camp during the school year. Teen's families also participate in the program, during weekends in the spring and fall. Activities include camping, canoeing, high ropes, peer group counseling, learning basic work skills, and local community service projects.
