311 Contact Center - City of Buffalo

A "one-stop shop" system with access to City of Buffalo services, information, and non-emergency police services. Residents can dial 311 within city limits, 716-851-4890 outside the city, visit the website, or download the BUFF311 App to report service needs, check on the status of previous service requests, or obtain information regarding city programs. A report or request can be sent anonymously through the 311 applications, made via online requests or by calling the office. However, if you choose this option, you will not be able to track the progress online. For this follow-up information, you may contact the Call Center by phone. Your anonymity will always be respected. Rabies Program - Wyoming County Health Department

Pre- and post-exposure vaccine available along with follow-up and guidance. Provides clinics for vaccination against rabies for dogs, cats, and ferrets held quarterly. Also provides information and education on rabies prevention.

ANIMAL CONTROL | CLARKSTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

The responsibilities of the ACO are to answer all dog complaints, bites, wildlife complaints and enforce Clarkstown Town Codes and Village of Upper Nyack Ordinances relating to dogs, and NYS Agricultural & Markets Law Article 7.Wildlife must be sick or injured for the ACO to respond. Wildlife in homes or on property that are not sick or injured may be removed at the property owners expense by hiring a Nuisance Wildlife Agent.
