FORT HUDSON HOME CARE | FORT HUDSON HEALTH SYSTEM

Provides non-medical companion service for individuals in the community requiring or requesting a continuous or intermittent companion for safety, and socialization. Services include transportation, meal preparation, and shopping. FRIENDLY VISITING | DOROT WESTCHESTER - NYC

Volunteers visit homebound seniors weekly to brighten their lives and alleviate the isolation. Three times each year, DOROT Westchester arranges for over a hundred older adults to receive special holiday or other packages and enjoy visits from volunteers in their homes. It’s a unique opportunity to share stories, memories and companionship. These programs take place on Sunday mornings.

ESKATON TELEPHONE REASSURANCE | ESKATON TELEPHONE REASSURANCE

Brings together older adults and volunteers of all ages to share experiences, stories and laughter through friendly conversation. Beyond building meaningful connections, programs staff provide the following services to participants: daily cost-free calls 365 days a year, safety and wellness checks, access to resources and education, an on-call chaplain for spiritual support, and access to support groups. The program was created for seniors and disabled adults, but everyone is eligible.
