COMPEER PROGRAM | MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATION IN FULTON AND MONTGOMERY COUNTIES

Offers trained community volunteers an opportunity to provide friendship, support and guidance to an adult or child within the community that has been diagnosed with a mental illness for a few hours every month by participating in activities that both parties enjoy.

Adult Behavioral Health (HCBS/CORE) | Pathways, Inc. (Admin Site)

Provides Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) and Community Oriented Recovery and Empowerment (CORE) Services for adults. These services are for adults, for Health and Recovery Plan (HARP) eligible enrollees who are Medicaid beneficiaries with behavioral health needs within New York State’s Behavioral Health System. These individuals are diagnosed with a serious mental illness and/or substance use disorders.

Transitional Services for Young Adults | AIM Independent Living Center - Chemung County Outreach Office

Provides coordinated transitional services and training to help students move from school to post-school life in order to live as independently and self-directing as possible. Services include transitional assistance with CSE meetings and IEP transition planning and advocacy with school personnel as needed. Also allows participants to explore and observe a variety of jobs and work settings, including job training and coaching.
