Other services include: identifying sources of financial aid, training and technical assistance to early care and learning programs, etc.

Provides referrals for working parents searching for licensed day care providers. Also provides training workshops for day care providers on various topics, such as early childhood development, health and safety, nutrition, educational activities, and program management. Families learn of various workshops, seminars, and webinars related to parenting in the community through email alerts from Council.Council actively participates with other child care and early education agencies in statewide efforts to create a cohesive and comprehensive agenda in Nassau County and Albany, and for clarification, support, and dissemination of statewide information.
