Holiday Programs - Community Action of Orleans & Genesee

Provides Thanksgiving turkey baskets (no longer available for 2025), Christmas meal baskets (sign ups end November 21st, 2025), and Christmas toys during the holiday season for low-income residents. Gifts will be included with baskets for eligible families with children.

Nutrition Services - CCA

Operates and oversees a takeout ready to eat community kitchen and provides an emergency food pantry and mobile food pantry. Other services include food recovery, food redistribution, community gardens, and seedling provision. Chautauqua County Toys for Tots

Works with the US Marine Corps Reserves to organize the Toys for Tots Campaign in Chautauqua County to provide toys for low income families with children ages 0-17 in need of assistance during the holiday season. Individuals and families can apply to receive toys for their own family, while agencies and groups can apply to pick up toys for families they serve.

Friendly Kitchen - Chautauqua County Rural Ministry

Provides a hot meal to anyone in need. Breakfast and lunch are served sit-down, while dinner is provided to-go. Provides a traditional Thanksgiving meal served on Thanksgiving Day.

Provides the children of low-income individuals or families from Ulster County a Christmas gift (toys, clothing, books, and stocking stuffers). Donations accepted.

PARISH OUTREACH AND FOOD PANTRY | OUR LADY OF THE SNOW CHURCH

Provides emergency services such as food, clothing, limited financial assistance. The pantry is located in the lobby of the church. All donations can be left outside the pantry door in the container provided, during Mass times, or dropped off at the Outreach office during Outreach hours, which is located in the white cottage in the large church parking lot. Christmas and Thanksgiving programs available.

Gift Tree Program - Interfaith Caregivers

Accepts referrals from local non-profits for families who need help with holiday gifts, and matches these referrals with volunteers who will purchase gifts for the family. This program is a collaboration between Interfaith Caregivers and the Salvation Army of Olean, and clients can contact either organization to be served.
