We assist in developing the nonprofit workforce to strengthen organizational capacity for effective service. The Center offers services that focus on four areas: Leadership development, targeting new and emerging leaders; Leadership support, providing resources for current executive directors; Leadership transition, working with departing leaders and their organizations and Nonprofit governance, focusing on the crucial work of the board of directors and its leadership role that includes strategic planning and merger exploration. ABLE is a an innovative educational program designed to provide authentic, hands-on learning opportunities. Aligned with NYS learning standards and curricula, ABLE provides exploratory extension opportunities beyond traditional classroom settings. ABLE utilizes WAP, which incorporates evidence-based practices to increase physical fitness, critical thinking, collaboration, problem solving, and leadership skills.
