Offers intensive support to youth and families involved with DSS or Probation, helping prevent placement, reducing re-placement, and shortening stays when placement is necessary. The program strengthens families, builds skills, improves school attendance and performance, and reduces court involvement. Families work closely with an Intensive Family Worker, receiving personalized support through in-home coaching, parent guidance, skill building, crisis response, advocacy, and connection to community resources. SHINE also supports youth in placement, ensuring smooth visits, discharge planning, and transitions back home. Referrals are made through DSS or Probation.
