Offers physical fitness activities for both adults and kids (basketball, soccer, flag football, Swimming, and more), as well as leadership development, active older adult’s programs and trips, exercise classes (yoga, cardio, strength training, water exercise), summer camps, before and after school child care, preschool programs, teen program including activity center, home school physical education, and various health and wellness programs. Off-site swimming pool offers open swim year-round, lap and family swims, lifeguard training, and swim lessons.

Gloria J. Parks Community Center

Provides community meeting space, food pantry referrals, special events, family activities, and technology center / computer lab. Senior programming includes exercise, movies, parties, senior council meetings, bingo, nutrition program for seniors, and field trips. Youth programming includes an after school program for children 5-10 years old, 4-H programs, homework help, teen and adolescent life skills, youth and teen recreation, summer day camp, and homework assistance. Also provided are youth sports, adult sports and recreation, adult athletic leagues, exercise programs, and a fitness room. Serves as a City of Buffalo Cooling Center during times of extreme heat and as a Warming Center during times of extreme cold. Always call ahead to make sure a Cooling/Warming Center is open before going there.

Serves as a City of Buffalo Cooling Center during times of extreme heat and as a Warming Center when temperatures are below 15 degrees. Always call ahead to make sure a Cooling/Heating Center is open before going there.

Provides daily hot meals in a social atmosphere. People can also opt to order frozen meals to take home. After school program offered for youth during the school year and 6 week summer camp offered when school not in session.
