Senior's Multi-Service Center - Buffalo Urban League

Provides a full complement of services to adults ages 55 and over. Daytime programming includes breakfast, lunch, take-home food, exercise, field trips, transportation services, health and wellness information, assistance with senior benefits/issues, recreation and cultural activities, technology classes, workshops, and referral services. ADULT EDUCATION GREAT NECK SENIOR COMMUNITY SERVICE CENTER | GREAT NECK SENIOR CENTER

Provides classes which are held at the center in exercise, dancing, music, art, Mah Jong, bridge classes, current events, drama, etc. About 40 classes are offered. Call for information. Walk in. CENTER FOR RECREATION AND SPORTS | ADELPHI UNIVERSITY

Offers alumni, family members of current faculty, staff and students as well as affiliates and local residents the opportunity to "have fun and be active" by joining one of the Center for Recreation and Sports (CRS) Membership Programs. All CRS membership programs allow the member to come and work out/play in our new, state of the art recreational facilities during regularly scheduled hours. These facilities include: State of the art, 5,000 sq.ft. Recreational Fitness Center including 28 cardio machines, Cybex selectorized weight circuit and 14 free weight stations, cable machines and a stretching area; 4 lane, 25 yard swimming pool; 1/10 mile indoor track with scenic views to the outdoors; 3 court gymnasium for basketball, volleyball and badminton; Indoor racket courts (1 conversion racquetball court and 1 dedicated squash court); Outdoor tennis courts (4) and Locker rooms with grooming stations and shower rooms. Friends, Inc. at Dorothy J. Collier Community Center (Service Group)

Provides daily hot meals in a social atmosphere. People can also opt to order frozen meals to take home. After school program offered for youth during the school year and 6 week summer camp offered when school not in session. Additional services include a private book club, bible study, exercise group, licensed daycare, community resource information, line dancing, and daily activities for seniors. Comprehensive aquatic, fitness, and recreational facility serving all ages. Offers Red Cross swimming instruction, individual and group fitness program, and day care. Family programs include after school care, summer camps, nursery school, and parent-toddler programs. Social and educational programs available for senior adults, singles, and youth.
