Offers Cheerleading Camp for ages 7-15 which is designed for the camper whose aim is to develop the confidence and skills necessary to perform the latest stunts, pyramids, gymnastics and cheers. Whether you are a high school cheerleader looking to ignite your school spirit or a total beginner, our highly trained and expert staff will ensure that you achieve your goals in a safe and fun environment by integrating the latest research and trends in skill development and choreography. Designed for cheerleaders who desire a full day of expert training in all facets of cheerleading. Training will include cheers, dances, jumps, stunts, pyramid building and gymnastics. A routine with skills the campers are taught will be performed at the end of camp for Family and Friends. The camp is structured for both teams and individuals to believe in themselves and achieve their personal best. Cheer Camp encompasses all styles and skill levels from beginner to elite. Cheerleaders will be grouped according to age and skill level. Hofstra’s Cheer Camp utilizes the University’s state-of-the-art, air-conditioned facilities for gymnastics and stunting sessions. Each camper should wear daily: cotton T-shirt, athletic shorts, and sneakers. Campers must also bring a water bottle. Bathing suit and towel will be needed on assigned swim days. Whether you are seeking to become a high school cheerleader, looking to ignite your school spirit or a total beginner, our highly experienced staff will ensure that you achieve your goals in a safe and fun environment by integrating the latest trends in skill development and choreography. All programs run weekly from Monday to Friday and camp hours are 9:00am-4:00pm. Extended Hours are available with Early Drop-Off (8am) and Late Pick-Up (5:30pm) options. Additional charges apply.
