Facilities include pools, bathhouses, band shell, 2-mile boardwalk, 2-mile health walk, 4-mile bike path, boat basin, 4-finger piers, bait station, surf casting, picnic areas, 4 basketball courts, 22 shuffleboard courts, 8 volleyball courts, paddle tennis, equipment rentals, pitch-putt golf, 2 softball fields, food stands, boardwalk restaurant(new construction pending), ice cream parlor, and exhibits. Lifeguards available, hours and dates vary. Summer events include New York Air Show, a volleyball tournament, an Independence Day fireworks program, Summer Run Series and Pitch Putt Tournament. Requires that all sailing/boating/windsurfing students know how to swim. Offers beginner/intermediate waterskiing instruction (including wakeboarding and tubing) to students ages ten and up in four separate twelve hour sessions from which to choose.
