Provides a starting point for many youth to learn about becoming and staying active and developing healthy habits. Offers opportunities to learn new sports, build positive relationships, and develop good sportsmanship and teamwork. Youth programs include indoor soccer, basketball, floor hockey, golf, flag football, and preschool sports programs, along with the YMCA Canal Club which provides opportunities to bike, hike, kayak, and snowshoe throughout the year.

Offers field hockey camp for girls entering grades 2–12. Coaches will encourage player skill development and campers will receive instruction and the opportunity to practice in competitive games and drills. Learn with the enthusiasm and expertise of experienced Division 1 college coaches and players on state of the art facilities. Each camper should wear daily: cotton T-shirt, athletic shorts, and, field hockey stick, mouth-guard, and sneakers. Campers must also bring a water bottle. This camp is open to girls, ages 8-18, of all abilities. Our spring and summer field hockey camp in focuses on fundamentals and skills that will help bring campers to their full potential. Provides recreation opportunities to students ages 4 years old through 7th grade. Offers a full gym and game room with a variety of table games like pool, foosball, hockey, and ping pong. Homework help is available from staff and volunteers. Provides a recreation program open to students in 6th-12th grade, including basketball, several youth activities, and field trips.

Provides day camp for children ages 4-11. Activities include canoeing, sailing, basketball, softball, soccer, tennis, field hockey, football, arts and crafts, drama, baseball, aerobics, and archery. This one week camp emphasizes the fundamentals of the game such as passing, receiving, dribbling, and small game scrimmages. Students are required to provide their own shin guards, cleats, and mouthpiece. Two sessions available. Call for information.

Offers Field Hockey Camp for ages 6-14 which focuses on all aspects of the game and is ideal for campers of all levels and abilities. The campers learn and practice their techniques in the core concepts of field hockey: trapping, ball and stick control, passing and receiving, shooting, defensive tackling, and positioning, in addition to daily speed and agility training. Our expert, adult staff integrates diversified drills, fun development stations and game play to ensure we meet the expectations of all campers, whether it be those that are interested in learning about a new sport or those that want to excel in a sport they love!
