Teens in the Teen Program are able to participate in a variety of local and national programs along with an assortment of activities and events offered and organized by local universities. We hope that by participating in various programs, our teens will discover their potential and possibilities for the future.

Offers a full range of services and activities for adults and children including computer access, story programs for preschoolers, programs for seniors, and summer reading clubs for children and teens. Also provides one-on-one computer and technology instruction and HSE/TASC classes.

Provides a wide variety of services for community members including ACT and SAT preparation, babysitter training, basic computer skills, driver education, online courses, and certificate programs.

Offers group and one-on-one computer instruction on a variety of computer topics. There is also a computer pod where computers can be utilized for research, internet access, and other software. Wireless access is also available throughout the libraries.

Provides job placement and support to people with disabilities in obtaining employment, such as resumes, interviewing skills, computer training, customer service training, employment searching/networking, and assistance in eliminating barriers to employment. Call for more information.

Provides EnL/ESOL classes, computer training, GED preparation, financial literacy and life skills classes.

Provides opportunities for education, rejuvenation and reflection for residents,membership into community garden, staff and the community of Brentwood. Offers classes and workshops on financial literacy, computer basics, resume writing, nutrition, mental health and wellness.

Provides adult basic education which concentrates on individual student goals, such as improving reading and math skills, vocabulary development, computer classes, employment preparation, and English as a Second Language class. Also offers Graduation Equivalency programs which best fits the future goals of the adult student.

Provides Reference, Information and Referral, Readers Advisory, Computers, AARP Tax Assistance and a wide range of other programs.

Provides reference, information and referral, reader's advisory, job search training and Tutor.Com. Programs may include book discussions and computer instruction.

Offers the Web Design and Development Program which will give you the roadmap to achieve technical and creative success with the latest interactive media. Choose from a variety of course offerings or earn a Professional Website Development Certificate. The Website Development certificate program requires successful completion of five (5) required courses and one (1) elective. Sample course offerings include: Introduction to Web Development; HTML Programming; Cascading Style Sheets; JavaScript Programming; Responsive Web Design with HTML5, CSS3, and JQuery; PHP/MySQL Web Application; Adobe Photoshop for Design - Web Graphics; Developing Web Applications with ASP.Net, C# and VB.Net - Online Program and Advanced ASP.Net - Online Program. Completion of three additional of the following elective courses will then earn the candidate the Advanced Certificate: PHP/MySQL Web Application; Adobe Photoshop for Design - Web Graphics; Developing Web Applications with ASP.Net, C# and VB.Net and Advanced ASP.Net. Offers a variety of social and recreational activities for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender individuals ages 50 and older. Programs may include computer classes, discussion groups, support groups, advisory board meetings, health and wellness series, exercise classes, heart healthy activities, monthly restaurant outings and other social events. Provides a computer lab, offering computer classes and computer assistance on a wide variety of software programs and applications from beginners to advanced. Drop-in computer help and scheduled classes are available, along with wi-fi access for those who want to bring their own laptop or other electronic device.

The Rye offers a wide range of programs and classes for babies, toddlers and pre-school-age children and their families. These include movement, soccer, gymnastics, dance, music and creative arts programs.

Computer classes available to seniors as well as a computer lab on site.

Provides Reference, Information and Referral and Reader's Advisory. Offers Defensive Driving, E-Books, a wide range of programs which may include concerts, health and wellness workshops, Film and Dessert, arts and crafts, computer instruction, book discussion and bus trips.

Offer a low-cost, friendly introduction to using computers. The basic curriculum is comprised of courses on introduction to computers, word processing, spreadsheets and going online and using the Internet. More advanced courses include topics such as genealogy, graphics, personal financial management and preparation of taxes with a computer. Most Centers offer open lab time where students can use computers to practice their skills or to work on individual projects.
