OUTPATIENT REHABILITATION | MOHAWK VALLEY HEALTH SYSTEM

* Provides outpatient rehabilitation services at two locations. At the Faxton Campus, all services are available, and it is home to an aqua therapy pool and a rehabilitation gym. The second location is at St. Elizabeth Medical Arts, where physical therapy services are available. Available services offered between both sites include:

Principal owners of a vehicle until receive a miminimum of 10% reduction in the base rate of your auto or motor cycle liability and collision insurance premiums for 3 years.

DRIVER'S EDUCATION | MICHAEL J. GRANT CAMPUS

Offers high school students a non-credit, state-certified Driver and Traffic Safety Education program. Those who successfully complete the course will receive the MV-285 Student Certificate Completion issued by the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles. The MV-285 allows students with a NYS Junior Permit to schedule a road test, receive their senior license at the age of 17 instead of 18, and may be eligible for a rate reduction in their automobile insurance. This program consists of 25.5 hours of classroom instruction and 25.5 hours of behind the wheel training and observation. Effective July 1, this course will be offered in-person, on the Ammerman Campus in Selden. Please note that XDT100 and XDT200 are corequisites and must be taken together and successfully completed to obtain the MV-285. Workforce Development at SUNY Niagara

Workforce Development offers non-credit courses to help individuals meet their career goals in areas such as Emergency Medical Technician; Advanced Emergency Medical Technician; Commercial Drone Piloting; Pharmacy Technician; Sterile Processing Technician; Landscape Design, Installation, and Management; Floral Design; Cannabis Cultivation; Retail Cannabis; and Cannabis Processing. A CDL Program is available on-site through 160 Driving Academy. In addition to career focused programs, Workforce Development offers skill courses to individuals in areas such as Basic Life Support, Notary Public, Driving Education, and Motorcycle Training. Customized Training is offered to companies in areas such as Adobe; Excel; Outlook; Communication and Leadership; Budgeting and Finance; First Aid, CPR, and AED; and a variety of OSHA mandated topics. There is a wide variety of topics that can be covered in customized training; all offerings are not listed here.

Workforce Development - E2CC BOCES

Provides education for adults and high school students in skilled trades leading to high demand career fields including short term certifications in health care, welding, and commercial driver's licenses. Longer educational programs in a variety of trades lasting 1-2 years are also available. Also provides free Adult Basic Education classes in Dunkirk and Jamestown, as well as ESL classes and High School Equivalency preparation.

Driver Evaluation & Training - Resource Center

Provides evaluation and training of individuals with disabilities to help them obtain their NYS Driver's License, along with permit tutoring, adaptive equipment prescriptions as needed, vehicle/equipment assessments, and behind-the-wheel assessment and training.

Batavia Senior Center

Provides weekly programs at the Batavia Senior Center. Some of the programs offered are bridge, line dancing, cribbage, arthritis chair-based exercise, quilters, and painting classes. New groups are always being organized. Special programs such as 55 Alive Driver Refresher Course, educational, health, and informational programs are also offered. Day trips to concerts, exhibits, musical productions, restaurants, and areas of special interest are also scheduled in the spring, summer, and fall. Senior groups and clubs exist in most areas of the county which offer luncheons and pot luck dinners. Most groups offer programs of interest, entertainment, day trips, and other recreational activities.
