Provides a number of support services for anyone who is a victim of domestic violence and sexual assault. Services include 24/7 hotline, confidential emergency shelter, crisis intervention, counseling, advocacy, court assistance and accompaniment, safety for pets left behind, transportation, translation and referrals to other services or resources that will be needed. Also provides multilingual and culturally focused services for lesbians, gays, Latinos, African-American, Asian, Haitian, and Jewish Orthodox.

Latinas Prosperando or Thriving Latinas program is for Latina immigrant women who are survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and/or stalking. Knitting Our Stories - Tejiendo Nuestras Historias, provides a safe space where women can learn to heal from past traumatic experiences through a culturally-adapted support group and art therapy.

Provides non-residential programming to victims of domestic violence and their children. Supports for victims include legal advocacy, a domestic violence hotline, safety planning, legal clinics, counseling, emergency cell phones, support groups, children's counseling and support groups, court accompaniment, resource advocacy, and direct access to emergency assistance. Transportation is provided to victims of domestic violence and their children as well as educational presentations, trainings and workshops for schools, and community groups.

Provides opportunities for domestic violence victims transitioning to self sufficiency, to get involved in the community through various activities, such as summer outings, picnics, holiday celebrations, reading groups, teachings in mediation, nutrition, relaxation housekeeping, etc., along with learning to network with others.

Provides an ongoing, walk-in support group for women and men who are or have experienced physical, verbal or emotional abuse. Child care provided.

Offers a support group for victims of domestic violence. Topics deal with surviving domestic violence and surrounding issues. Lesson plans developed around the attending group of women. There is also a children's support group that meets at the same time as the adult group.

Serves as a liaison to the Nassau County Multi Disciplinary Team and service providers. Assists in completing Crime Victim's Compensation.
