Information and support on: A monthly Domestic violence support group held on the 3rd Monday of each month from 5 pm to 6 pm at the YWCA Cortland. No need to register, come when in need of support. Power of Change which is a support/educational group for victims of domestic violence cycle of violence, characteristics of a healthy and unhealthy relationship, and the effects that domestic violence has on the entire family. Aid to Victims of Violence is a free, comprehensive, confidential service to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, rape, and other crimes. We have a 24 hour crisis hotline 607-756-6363 Our office is open Monday-Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. We provide advocacy, accompaniment, crisis intervention, legal referrals, phone counseling, prevention education, support counseling, and support groups. State-licensed clinic offering comprehensive programs representing a broad range of disciplines including psychiatry, psychology, nursing, and social work. Services include individual, family, and group counseling; groups including Men's Anger Management, Adolescent Boy's Anger Management, Sexual, Perpetrator's, Adult Victims of Sexual Abuse, and Anxiety Treatment (other groups run as needed); medication monitoring and evaluations; and outreach and education on topics related to mental health.
