AA - OPEN mutual support groups led by members of the community. Wednesdays from 6-7pm and Thursdays from 7pm-8pm. NA - OPEN mutual support groups led by members of the community. Thursdays from 10 am-11am & Saturdays from 11am-12noon. WOMEN'S GROUP - An education and discussion recovery group for women in the community led by a Save The Michaels recovery coach and case manager. Fridays from 12noon-1pm. NARCAN TRAINING - An education session that focuses on understanding how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose, led by NYS approved trainers. Certification given upon completion. Provides substance use disorder and mental health treatment. Services include substance use disorder evaluation, treatment including individual and group therapy, medication assisted treatment (MAT) including Buprenorphine (Suboxone), Vivitrol, and Naltrexone, drug and alcohol testing, mental health counseling and medication management, family counseling, adolescent counseling, peer support, and impaired driver evaluation. Certified by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (NYS OASAS). All services are strictly confidential. The Amherst facility is in the Sheridan Center Plaza at the corner of Sheridan Drive and Sweet Home Road. It is located next to Allstate.
