Offers a parent therapy group designed to help parents build more positive relationships with their children.

Provides parenting education, support groups, outreach, and activities to people who are raising the child or children of a relative in Ulster County. Parenting a second time around workshops available throughout the year. RAPP Kidz Club is for children ages five and up being raised by a relative that reside in Ulster County.

Partners with community organizations to support programs for parents and caregivers that include assessment, guidance, treatment, and/or parenting education for young and developing families. Our trained and experienced clinicians offer: Supportive services for families with babies and young children in our clinic, on location in a school or other appropriate setting, via home visiting, or Telehealth; Developmentally informed, dyadic trauma treatment for 0-6 year-olds and their parents; Clinicians are fully rostered in Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), an evidence-based trauma intervention; we are the only clinic on Long Island able to provide CPP training; Consultation for mental health, behavioral, and/or developmental concerns; Consultation in childcare, school, or other group settings; Consultation in health care settings, such as hospitals or primary care clinics; Parent education and guidance; Support groups for parents, or kinship caregivers, in our clinic or on location in the community and Psychoeducational and reflective groups for parents in our clinic or on location in the community. Provides parenting workshops, toddler story hours and playgroups, parent support groups, book clubs, home visiting, and referrals to community resources.

Families Together provide information, peer support, recreation, referrals and linkages to services, support items, and advocacy for children, youth and families. A range of recreational activities for youth, peer-led support groups and peer self advocacy training and educational and vocational development are offered. There are support groups for parents of children with social, emotional, or behavioral concerns and a social worker will work with families and staff to help identify social, emotional or behavioral challenges at an earlier age through assessment, brief support/therapy, and trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy.

Works with parents raising children who are challenged with social, behavioral, emotional, and/or developmental issues. Offers knowledgeable and trained peer advocates who meet with parents, listen, connect, teach, coach, and empower them to be appropriate advocates for themselves and their families. Offers Parent Empowerment Groups, Love & Logic parenting classes, and educational workshops open to the public.

Empowers families and informs and involves professionals and other individuals interested in healthy development and educational rights of children. SPAN's foremost commitment is to children with the greatest need due to disability, discrimination, and other special circumstances. Offers support groups for parents of infants/toddlers who have been diagnosed with emotional or behavioral disabilities, to share resources, experiences, concerns, ideas and solutions.

This is a 12 week small group meeting for parents and caregivers. The program includes activities, discussions, a family-style meal, and complimentary childcare.

The Community Parent Center aims to support parents in their effort to do what is best for their children. Focusing on parenting issues and family wellness, the center is committed to work with local parent and community organizations to bring to parents information, resources, and the opportunity to be part of a supportive parent network. Parents are invited to participate in our center to find mutual support and resources to address family issues generated by changing social conditions. We offer our services to families with children in grades PreK-12. Serves Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Publishes a newsletter and calendar of events. Affiliated with local PTA's, local school districts and Tempo Group.

Builds a supportive network of families to reduce isolation and empower those who care for people with developmental disabilities or special healthcare needs to navigate and influence service systems and make informed choices. Provides support and information to parents of children with special needs by matching them with a family of a child of the same age and disability educates professionals, parent groups, and other community organizations on the importance and availability of Parent to Parent support helps connect families of children with special needs of all ages to services, programs and resources offers emotional support to families upon receiving a diagnosis of a child with a disability. Offers explanations and information on Medicaid Service Coordination and its changes, and information regarding educational entitlements.

Offers family caregivers the opportunity to connect one-to-one with someone who has first-hand experience as a caregiver of a child with the same type of disability, chronic illness, or health care concern.

Provides virtual and in-person support groups, educational speaker, workshops, conferences, advocacy, newsletters, and support services to parents and families with a child who has emotional, behavioral, mental, and/or developmental challenges.

A family-driven service in which caregivers partner with a Family Peer Advocate who has lived experience helping parents navigate systems more effectively, learn from the experiences of other families, decrease isolation, and gain hope, ideas, and information. Families can enroll in one or all of the following service components to best meet their needs:

• Individual Mentoring & Skills Development: Can be delivered in the home, community and/or office. A Family Peer Advocate provides mentoring, skills development, support, and information on community resources and linkage to other services.

• Family Advocacy: This service is short term and provides instruction, support, and advocacy in areas such as School and Committee of Special Education (CSE), court (preparedness and support), and systems navigation (working with providers in various systems of care).

• Parent Education & Empowerment Groups: Trainings and support groups that provide information on community resources, parent connections, and skills development. Offers opportunities for parents/caregivers to connect and build natural community supports with other parents/caregivers facing similar challenges.

Provides a community-based system of care for families of children with disabilities. Offers both formal and informal services, with an emphasis on self-determination and family control, to help support families with children who have a disability. Offers family engagement activities, peer support, advocacy training, and parenting groups and classes.

Offers access to a wide variety of circulating material, reference materials, and information resources for all members of the community. Special services include large print, audio, and video collections. Meeting room and public access computer use available. Outreach program and children's story hours.
