Matches preschool age children with disabilities with typically developing children in their communities for one on one play dates.

Program encourages families to play, learn, and develop social skills together in the indoor play room. When weather permits, children may use the center's outdoor play facility. Parents or guardians must accompany children at all times during visits. One day per week there is a structured playgroup for ages 18 months to 5 years.

Two-Year-Old Playgroup: Playgroup is an unstructured playtime for children who will be two by December 1st. Program offers the opportunity for children to make the transition into the classroom environment for the first time under the guidance of a loving and nurturing staff. Songs, stories, finger plays, arts and crafts, and gym are all part of this fun experience for two year olds. Three-Year-Old Preschool: Preschool is geared towards providing children with social experiences in a structured environment that offers exposure to literature, materials, and experiences that are age appropriate. Provides a focus on learning through play and discovery with the implementation of a theme based curriculum. Children must be 3 years old on or before December 1st in order to participate. Class includes swimming once a week. Four-Year-Old Preschool: Preschool is geared towards providing children with social experiences in a structured environment that offers exposure to literature, materials, and experiences that are age appropriate. Four-Year-Old Preschool (child must be 4 by 12/1): Meets daily and brings together out-of-district 4 year-olds with Batavia City School district UPK students. Socialization skills and proper classroom behavior is reinforced through free play, arts and crafts, songs, snack time, and physical activities. In addition to daily gross-motor activities, gym class is offered once a week and swimming lessons are conducted twice a week during class time. Emphasizes kindergarten preparation in a fun hands-on learning environment.

Offers several programs which focus on infants and toddlers, such as Baby and Me, Tot Park, Junior Nature Explorers, Mud Bunnies, Little Sluggers, Pre-Ballet, and T-Ball. Many of these programs include parent/child activities.

Offers a wide variety of information resources which are made available to the community. Special Services Include: Meeting rooms available for non-profit organizations. Call library for details. Library could use volunteers. Wide variety of activities offered for all ages and interests.

Family Resource Centers are often open to the public for free play, we also offer structured Parent-Child Playgroups at specific times. These playgroups, for families with children aged from birth to 5 years, are free of charge, with no need to register in advance.
