Social/recreational programs are available for adults and youth. An after school program at Canton Central School serves individuals with special needs, ranging in age from 12 to 22 years.

RECREATION PROGRAM | ACTION TOWARD INDEPENDENCE - MIDDLETOWN

This program offers free or low-cost monthly recreation events at a variety of venues both local and out of town. Eligible clients must be over 18 years of age, live in Orange County, and have been a recipient of mental health services. For more information please call our Middletown Office.

We encourage non-Jewish individuals to attend as well. The Recreation and Teen Clubs offer a wide variety of recreational activities for adults and teens that live at home with their families. The events nurture friendships and include activities such as putting on plays, visiting New York City, attending live theater and enjoying the outdoors. Club members may also choose to participate in Special Olympic events.
