Provides a socialization and recreation program for teens with developmental disabilities and their peers.

Our Roots Program is designed to enhance connections and celebrate tradition among Jewish adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We encourage non-Jewish individuals to attend as well. Through social, cultural, recreational, and educational programs that highlight Jewish holidays and traditions, we help foster a sense of pride and belonging within the Jewish community during this seasonal program. (SPRING AND FALL SESSIONS) (8-WEEKS LONG)

Provides social, recreational, and respite opportunities to individuals with an intellectual or developmental disability who live with a family member. Social/recreational programs are available for adults and youth. An after school program at Canton Central School serves individuals with special needs, ranging in age from 12 to 22 years.

Structured socialization and recreation program for adults with learning and other developmental disabilities.

The Recreation and Teen Clubs offer a wide variety of recreational activities for adults and teens that live at home with their families. The events nurture friendships and include activities such as putting on plays, visiting New York City, attending live theater and enjoying the outdoors. Club members may also choose to participate in Special Olympic events.

Teen Recreation-Friday night social and recreational activities, ages 12-17, during the school year.

Encourages a sense of community, provides social networking opportunities and offers a variety of stimulating activities and events for brain injury survivors and their families/significant others. Also promotes socialization, participation and engagement within a structured and supportive atmosphere, and amongst professionals, peers and advocates who understand the unique challenges of living with a brain injury.

Encourages individuals to enhance their interpersonal relationships, socialize and improve independence in their personal lives.

Provides clubs/social groups, day camp, and swimming for developmentally disabled ages 5 and older. Special Olympics is provided to developmentally disabled ages 5 and older; competition begins at age 8.

This program offers free or low-cost monthly recreation events at a variety of venues both local and out of town. Eligible clients must be over 18 years of age, live in Orange County, and have been a recipient of mental health services. For more information please call our Middletown Office.

Provides peer support to individuals seeking or maintaining mental wellness by identifying strengths and passions for continued wellness, and community participation. Peer support is available one-to-one or in group settings.

ATI facilitates a number of different social activities for its consumers. -Annual ADA Celebration - This event allows ATI to recognize the accomplishments made since the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in 1990 and to raise awareness for the issues that remain relating to the ability of people with disabilities to live independently in the community.
