CCE provides hands-on educational opportunities for youths ages 5 to 19. 4-H Community Clubs and School Programs allow youth the opportunity to explore a variety of project areas, including but not limited to Animal Science, Woodworking, Foods and Nutrition, Teen Programs, Leadership, Team Work and Clothing & Textiles.

Educational and youth development programs, 4-H Clubs, in school, out-of-school and after school programs. Volunteer opportunities available. Veterinary Science and Health Sciences, career exploration programs also available in addition to leadership training and public speaking for youth.

Provides community meeting space, food pantry referrals, special events, family activities, and technology center / computer lab. Senior programming includes exercise, movies, parties, senior council meetings, bingo, nutrition program for seniors, and field trips. Youth programming includes an after school program for children 5-10 years old, 4-H programs, homework help, teen and adolescent life skills, youth and teen recreation, summer day camp, and homework assistance. Also provided are youth sports, adult sports and recreation, adult athletic leagues, exercise programs, and a fitness room. Serves as a City of Buffalo Cooling Center during times of extreme heat and as a Warming Center during times of extreme cold. Always call ahead to make sure a Cooling/Warming Center is open before going there.

Helps young people (ages 5-19) become self-directed members of society through community 4-H clubs, school and community programs and programs at the Suffolk County Farm and Education Center and other Extension sites. Addresses critical youth issues through educational programs including substance abuse workforce preparation, life skills, character education and leadership training.

The 4-H is a membership club for children and adolescents, which works to build leadership skills, independence, belonging, generosity and mastery, through community involvement, animal care, gardening, personal safety, science technology, and much more.

Offers a 2 week farm camp where youth live, work and play together on 515 acre farm. The camp combines farm education and sustainable living with traditional camp activities. Campers learns about planting, weeding, composting, natural mulching, harvesting and food preservation, along with animal care of cows, chickens, pigs, horses, sheep, etc.
