D.R.E.A.M. PROJECT | LOWER HUDSON VALLEY PERINATAL NETWORK - ROCKLAND COUNTY

A program which aims to encourage youth to engage in healthy behaviors early in life that reduce preventable chronic diseases, unwanted pregnancy and the incidence of sexually transmitted diseases. The youth participate in workshops and various activities, community service projects which help to build leadership skills and to help build up their community.

TEEN SERVICES CENTER | SID JACOBSON JEWISH COMMUNITY CENTER

Teens (grades 9-12) enjoy opportunities to meet new friends, stay fit, develop leadership skills, engage in Jewish life and learning and participate in community service. Volunteer opportunities are available in a variety of programs after school and on the weekends. The Teen Services Center also has numerous academic test prep offerings: SAT, PSAT, ACT, and Regents review with NYS certified teachers.

YOUTH FELLOWSHIP | MATTITUCK PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

KIDS UNITED AGAINST HUNGER | LONG ISLAND CARES INC THE HARRY CHAPIN FOOD BANK

Jointly funded by United Way of L.I. Provides an opportunity for children 7-12 years to attend a Hunger 101 Workshop and Community Service project. Children must attend with parent or teacher. Accommodates groups up to 20-25 students and 4-5 adults.
