These services are free and open to the public, helping community members achieve personal, academic, and professional goals.

Recruits and trains volunteers for classroom activities, database management, graphic artists, special events, park maintenance, and website development and maintenance.

Donations of blankets, hats, scarves, socks, and gloves are given to those in need the Friday before Christmas.

Offer a low-cost, friendly introduction to using computers. The basic curriculum is comprised of courses on introduction to computers, word processing, spreadsheets and going online and using the Internet. More advanced courses include topics such as genealogy, graphics, personal financial management and tax preparation with a computer. Most Centers offer open lab time where students can use computers to practice their skills or to work on individual projects.

Housing Program: Volunteers to work with residents, help with recreational activities, arts and crafts, tutoring for those enrolled in academic programs. General Clerical Duties: To file, copy, and do general office work (9:00 am - 4:00 pm Mon-Fri) Front Desk Reception: To answer phone and greet customers (9:00 am - 4:00 pm Mon-Fri) public Relations/Marketing: To distribute pamphlets, flyers, newsletters. CARES agency needs volunteers to assist with their website and with social networking. This can be done on their own home computer. Volunteers are also needed to assist on the day of the AIDSWalk with volunteer coordination, check-in and passing out water and T-shirts. The walk is scheduled annually for the last week of September.
