Collaborates with Literacy Suffolk, Inc. to offer services of trained literacy volunteers. Provides help with reading/writing skills and English as a second language (ESOL). Volunteers help with shelving books and clerical work. Youth volunteers interviewed in May/June for Summer Reading Program that starts in July.

Provides preschool children with early learning experiences that are aimed at meeting their developmental, social, and physical needs prior to entering elementary school.

Operates an intensive summer program for low income and at-risk youth. Educates High School students on Microsoft Office, including writing resume and preparing spreadsheets, designing and presenting powerpoint presentations, collaboration between program participants in website design and coding. Provides students with a laptop at the end of the program. Accepts donations of computers, Pentium IV or better, are accepted.

Secure center for 13- to 21-year-old males placed by the criminal court system. Does not take any other referrals.

Provides a safe environment for young people to focus on academic success, healthy lifestyles and good character/citizenship. Members rotate every 45 minutes through each area (homework room, gym/outdoors, social games, dining area, etc.). Retirees from Cornell and the local community help and mentor 5 to 12-year olds in Ithaca area elementary schools, helping students with in-class assignments and homework, including: reading, spelling math music art special projects (nature, art, science, etc) presentations
