The After School Literacy Program offers teen residents (age 14-20) with a role model and tutor for increased academic support and enrichment. This program seeks and trains adults to be afterschool tutors. Tutoring will encompass both group and one-to-one activities.

Operates an intensive summer program for low income and at-risk youth. Educates High School students on Microsoft Office, including writing resume and preparing spreadsheets, designing and presenting powerpoint presentations, collaboration between program participants in website design and coding. Provides students with a laptop at the end of the program. Accepts donations of computers, Pentium IV or better, are accepted.

**DUE TO COVID-19, PROGRAM IS CURRENTLY ON HOLD - TENTATIVELY UNTIL SEPTEMBER 2021 ** Thomas Sports Group needs volunteers for tutoring and education, to assist youth with job training, including computer training, as mentors, to coach youth in organized sports teams, as chaperones, and those who are willing to transport youth to and from organized sports events and other activities.

The basic curriculum is comprised of courses on introduction to computers, word processing, spreadsheets and going online and using the Internet. Most Centers offer open lab time where students can use computers to practice their skills or to work on individual projects.
