The Adapted Sports and Recreation Program at HHH is a four-season program that provides access to and education about adaptive sports and recreation activities for individuals of a wide range of abilities. The program is open to both former patients of the hospital as well as individuals with disabilities within the community. Adapted activities offered during the year include gardening, handcycling, skiing, rowing, sailing, kayaking, rock climbing, softball, basketball, yoga, therapeutic horseback riding, and more. All activities are held in the New York Metropolitan region.

Provides volunteer coaching of sports programs, including Little League, football, basketball and cheerleading. Serves Brentwood youth age 5-17years.

**DUE TO COVID-19, PROGRAM IS CURRENTLY ON HOLD - TENTATIVELY UNTIL SEPTEMBER 2021 ** Thomas Sports Group needs volunteers for tutoring and education, to assist youth with job training, including computer training, as mentors, to coach youth in organized sports teams, as chaperones, and those who are willing to transport youth to and from organized sports events and other activities.

Offers youngsters opportunities to play soccer in a league that focuses on learning requisite skills and team work while promoting the enjoyment of the game. Intramural, interleague and travel teams are available. Open enrollment is available for the league's yearly two outdoor and limited winter indoor seasons. An intramural program is available for players ages 4 through 19. Call for more information.

Offers the opportunity for anyone to volunteer as a coach for one the league teams or be a sports buddy, to assist players who may need additional help.

Provides opportunities for anyone who wants to volunteer to teach/coach individuals with disabilities in various sports.

Provides a safe environment for young people to focus on academic success, healthy lifestyles and good character/citizenship. Members rotate every 45 minutes through each area (homework room, gym/outdoors, social games, dining area, etc.). Services include dinner each evening, homework help, daily education and recreational activities.

Troy Boys & Girls Club has opportunities available for volunteers in almost every capacity. Working with children in their groups during after school programs (mentoring, tutoring), providing specialized programs for youth and teens (arts/crafts, science, technology, dramatic arts, dance, career exploration, job preparedness), administrative support (data entry, database management, prepare mailings, office assistant, etc.), capital improvement projects, and much more.

Hands-on museum participation allows children (and adults) to create their own learning experience and encourages new discoveries about themselves and their world. Memberships available. Birthday parties, scout snoozes, and meetings can be arranged. Gift shop.
