Residents of all programs learn the skills necessary to live independently. Treatment Apartments are certified by the New York State Office of Mental Health and provide consumers with the highest level of independence. Site is staffed, but not overnight; provides 2 two-bedroom apartments that are shared.

Contracted by Chemung County to provide services for child, adolescent and adult residents with acute and persistent emotional and mental health problems through NYS OMH licensed outpatient mental health clinic services. Programs support emotional, social, and mental health promotion, psycho-education, and recovery. The clinic offers early intervention prior to onset of chronic or severe psychiatric problems; seeks to prevent hospitalization or re-hospitalization; and offers community education and consultation services for clients, their families, and the community. Services are prioritized for children and adolescents identified as Seriously Emotionally Disturbed (SED) and adults identified as Seriously Mentally Ill (SMI).

Provides a 32-bed unit for individuals who are experiencing a severe psychiatric crisis and are in need of an inpatient setting for safety, care, and treatment to stabilize the immediate crisis.

A peer-run crisis diversion center open 365 days a year. Serves individuals going through a mental health crisis or pre-crisis who prefer not to go to the hospital. Transportation may be available; call to inquire. Services include:

The Renewal Center is part of the Kirsten Vincent Respite & Recovery Center.

Peers are individuals with lived experience. Peers are available in the community and integrated into existing services (ex: hospitals, outpatient clinics, etc.) to support individuals on their positive pathways to behavioral health and wellness. Our peers serve as educators, advocates, supporters, and connectors to other resources.
