Provides a group home environment with 24-hour staff supervision with short term, focused skill development in a home-like setting. Services include crisis intervention, rehabilitation counseling, social and living skills development (money management, personal hygiene, food preparation, meal planning and recreation activities), medication management, and community integration.

* Provides a home-like community based residential setting designed for individuals with developmental disabilities. 24-hour on-site supervision and habilitation services by fully trained staff. Medication is given in the homes by Approved Medication Assistive Personnel (AMAP) certified staff. An individualized plan to help the individual reach his/ her goals and reach greater independence is developed and implemented by the resident and team. Program activities focus on daily living skills such as recreation, cooking, cleaning, personal hygiene, money management, and community outreach skills.

* Provides 10-bed MICA community residence. When admitted to Venture House, residents are referred to treatment providers within the community to address their mental health and/or substance abuse needs. They are provided assistance and have ample opportunity to practice or regain independent living skills under staff instruction and supervision.

Provides counseling and psychiatric services to adults, children and families whose lives and daily functioning have been disrupted by emotional or behavioral problems and mental illness.

Private, not-for-profit professional counseling agency for individuals, couples and families with emotional, personal and alcohol or drug-related problems. Also provides mental health services in school-based clinics in Cortland County.Cortland Prevention Resources division offers free alcohol, tobacco and other drug related education, information, referral and community-based prevention services. * Offers adult outpatient clinic. Provides assessments which are completed by a licensed mental health practitioner in order to determine the level of care a patient may need. Provides Individual, family and group therapy. Provides Psychiatric evaluation and medication management. * Provides information, referrals and support to mental health organizations and individuals within the community in regards to mental health issues, developmental disabilities and substance abuse services.

The St. Mary's Children's Mental Health Clinic provides outpatient mental health services for seriously emotionally disturbed children up to 18 years of age and their families who reside in Fulton, Montgomery and Hamilton counties. Limited evening and and Saturday appointments may be available upon request. St. Mary's Emergency Services provides 24-hour-contact with mental health services including emergency telephone counseling. Other services include in-person evaluations, intervention and assessment.

Counseling and therapy for those who seek change

Consumer advocates available to talk with consumers having difficulties with mental health system or needing help connecting to services in community or who just like to talk with someone who may have had similar experiences.

Provides mental health counseling and medication management for individuals ages 5 years and older.

Provides separate adult, adolescent and family treatment facilities with specialized recovery programs on inpatient basis. Uses AA principles, includes individual and family treatment, provided on voluntary basis; networks AA contact, outpatient services, and halfway house placement for clients from outlying areas.

The Center promotes opportunities for individuals to experience hope and to overcome the challenges and stigmas of having a disability.
