217 Delaware Ave community residence is actually 2 programs in one building. The one level is for adolescents who require trauma informed treatment and permanency planning while residing in a safe setting. The goal is to maintain as many community connections as possible, i.e. school, family, spiritual life, etc. The residents stay for the necessary time to reach their goals, so this is can be either short term or long term depending on the situation. Each resident has an individual plan and individual goals. The other level and program is a semi independent living program designed to assist youth in care to receive the benefits of care while practicing to be on their own. These 18-21 year old youth are supported in finishing school, trade school, finding employment, budgeting, and food shopping, maintaining their environment, and developing social skills. This co-ed group home with ten total beds is located in the City of Albany. 217 Delaware Ave also offers emergency admissions for children of all ages. These admissions are on a more short term basis. They stay at the Delaware Ave location while a more long term plan can be developed.

Provides a community residence for children who are experiencing mental health and/or behavioral issues. Focuses on improving self-esteem, self-management of behavior, and skill development.

Provides holistic, strength-based mental health services in collaboration with youth and families to support the goal of safe reunification in the community. Together, youth and family members establish, learn, and practice skills and engage in therapeutic processes to heal from traumatic experiences and regain hope.

Foster parent must be at least 21 yrs, pass background check, receive ongoing training and support. Foster parent receives daily stipend; clothing allowance; and medical, dental, and orthodontic coverage for children in their home. Can be matched with children ranging from birth through age 21 yrs, including pregnant teens.

* Provides a comprehensive educational and residential facility for those being diagnosed with severe behavioral and developmental disabilities and/or with co-occurring psychiatric disorders.

* Provides residential treatment to children with behavioral and emotional challenges and their families by combining a highly structured therapeutic group living experience with family centered treatment.

Provides a residential treatment center for children with emotional, behavioral or mental difficulties. Treatment utilizes a multi-disciplinary team to build on a child's abilities and strengths, and empowers families to be active collaborators in treatment. There is an on-site learning center for children in the residential program where they receive intensive, individualized education in small classes for reading, language arts, social studies, science, math, health, and social skills, along with art, music, library, computer instruction, physical education, and other recreational and outdoor activities to help build new skills, self esteem, and confidence.

Residential Clinical Treatment Program for boys, NYSE Certified 853 School Program on campus that does accept student placement. All residents 14 and up participate in an independent living skills curriculum. Offers an on-campus special education school (Grove Street Academy).

Provides a short term(1-14 days) homelike environment to assist in stabilizing the crisis situation and to support the family and service providers to maintain the youth is his or her current residence.

Provides a licensed residential treatment facility for adolescents with severe psychiatric conditions. Services includes an open setting with intensive therapy for the child, with special education, pharmacotherapy, and vocational training. Group and family psychotherapy is also part of the program.

Provides females (age 12-18, 7th-12th grade) a residence which offers education, psychiatry, full medical and dental, substance abuse counseling, individual and group counseling, and adventure based programs. The Day School offers education, counseling (group and individual), and adventure based programs.

Offers a residential treatment facility for adolescents with emotional disturbance, learning disabilities or behavior which necessitates a residential treatment and school.

Provides intermediate length inpatient psychiatric hospitalization for children age 12 to 17. Offers evaluation and treatment by a multi-disciplinary team providing a range of therapeutic services including (but not limited to) individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, art therapy, recreation therapy, special education programs, psychiatric nursing, milieu therapy, and medication and health services.

A co-ed residential treatment center which cares for emotionally troubled children. The cottage-based campus works with residents and their families, helping them build on strengths to resolve the problems that got them into the center.
