EATING DISORDERS PROGRAM | MATHER PARTIAL HOSPITALIZATION/OUTPATIENT CLINICS

Assists individuals who are dealing with illness of Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa and Binge Eating Disorder. Treatment services provided include: health screening, coordination of care with medical doctor, psychosocial evaluation, psychiatric evaluation, nutritional assessment, psycho-educational groups, weight monitoring, group therapy, meal planning, individual therapy, family therapy, medication education, stress management, supportive meal and snacks. Support group available for people with eating disorders, as well as family and friends. Meets the first Monday of every month from 7:00pm-8:30pm. EATING DISORDER PARTIAL HOSPITALIZATION PROGRAM | THE HEALING CONNECTION, INC

* Provides a supportive, structured environment for patients to assist with normalization of eating, stabilization of weight, and improvement in other psychological/behavioral symptoms associated with eating disorders. The programs can be used as a step up from outpatient care or a step down from inpatient care and can help shorten or obviate inpatient care. The following services are provided: Individual therapy Nutritional assessment, counseling, and meal planning Structured supervised mealtimes that are prepared by an on-site cook Group therapy (eating disorders psychoeducational, cognitive-behavioral, skills training, relational, and art/movement/dance therapy groups, yoga, and availability of substance abuse psychoeducation/cognitive-behavioral skills groups) Family work (individual, parenting group, and multifamily therapy group) Psychopharmacological evaluation and medication monitoring Case Management Access to recovered peers and family members who present or participate in various program groups Tutoring for adolescent patients during school year

Mental Health Clinic for Adults & Children - JFS of WNY

Provides mental health and psychiatric medication management services for children, adolescents, and adults provided by NYS licensed therapists. Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners are available for consultation and medication management for clients enrolled in therapy. Therapists specialize in providing counseling for people experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, sexual abuse, adjustment issues, family conflict, school problems, issues related to divorce, adoption, grief and loss, LGBTQ+ issues, and other mental health diagnoses. Therapists are trained in evidence-based interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Mental health services are also provided for adults and children who have a mental health disorder as a primary diagnosis and who may have a concurrent substance abuse disorder which is stabilized or in early remission. Collaborates with established OASAS licensed treatment providers to ensure that the mental health treatment needs of recovering substance abuse clients are met, to provide support for the clients' recovery process, and to minimize symptoms and the potential for psychiatric decompensation, psychiatric hospitalization, or relapse of substance abuse. Provides in-office and telehealth appointments--when clinically appropriate. All initial appointments must be completed in person.

Provides effective treatment for eating disordered patients and their families, and specialized training for professionals who treat them. Aims to educate the community about eating disorders, and to provide information and outreach services. Also provides a support group for Friends and Family of those dealing with an eating disorder so they can share experiences, and learn from one another in a supportive environment. The group meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 6pm-7pm. Call or check website for more information.

EATING DISORDERS CENTER | EATING DISORDERS CENTER

Offers multidisciplinary treatment to children and adolescents with Anorexia Nervosa or Bulimia Nervosa . Provides comprehensive diagnostic evaluation and plans individualized treatment program. Offers outpatient treatment involving professional patient monitoring nutritional counseling and individual and family psychotherapy. Also offers in-patient treatment, where appropriate, involving intensive treatment in a highly structured environment and a day program attended by patients 8am-6pm Monday through Friday, with treatment intensity comparable to treatment of hospitalized patients. Treatment approach addresses the biopsychosocial needs of patients.

Eating Disorders Treatment - JFS of WNY

Offers assessment as well as ongoing outpatient therapy for various eating disorders. Individual counseling for eating disorders including Bulimia, Anorexia, and Compulsive Overeating. Provides linkage with self-help organizations, partial day, inpatient programs, nutritionists, and physicians. Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners are available for consultation and medication management for clients enrolled in therapy. Provides in-office and telehealth appointments--when clinically appropriate. All initial appointments must be completed in person.

ADULT PARTIAL HOSPITAL | NEW YORK PRESBYTERIAN HOSPITAL, WESTCHESTER DIVISION

The Adult Partial Hospital Program (PHP) provides comprehensive evaluation and intensive, short-term treatment to adults 18 years of age and older with acute psychiatric illnesses including psychosis, eating disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and personality disorders. The program functions to avert or shorten inpatient hospitalizations, providing a structured, supportive environment for those who can live in the community and can be treated outside of the inpatient setting. The program is staffed by an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners in psychiatry, social workers, psychologists, nutritionists, and occupational, recreational and creative arts therapists.

Offers outpatient psychotherapy services to women and men who suffer with anorexia, bulimia, compulsive overeating, binging, and body image problems. Serves individuals who struggle with anxiety/phobia disorders, depression, substance abuse, and the effects of trauma. Outpatient services include: individual psychotherapy, group therapy, family therapy, nutrition counseling and meal planning, wellness programs, and training and education.
