Addresses the opiate epidemic problems in the community through the Oneida County Opiate Task Force. Works on suicide prevention in the community by strengthening the coordination and accessibility of services, providing awareness of suicide prevention facilitated by the Oneida County Suicide Prevention Coalition. Provides navigators to help those affected by addiction, and to navigate treatment, insurance and area support.

Offers locations to safely dispose of expired and unused medications (pet meds included). MedReturn Units are located at these locations:

Provides evidence based Mental Health First Aid training to the Nassau and Suffolk Communities. Training can focus on the population of your choice, and includes curricula options for youth, adults, veterans, public service and higher education professionals. Can be offered at any address in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.

Psychiatric services and medication evaluation offered as needed, as are assistance with school-related issues and referral/linkage to appropriate community services in the area. Challenges addressed include anxiety, depression, grief, bullying, developmental disabilities, shyness, domestic violence, sexuality, communication difficulties, parenting, nightmares, anger, abuse, bipolar disorder, step-families and divorce, problems sleeping, trauma, and co-occurring disorders.
