Provides education, treatment and support to recovering individuals and their families in a certified, medically supervised outpatient substance abuse treatment center. Incorporates a 12-step self help program into the treatment philosophy, as well as individual, group and family pyschotherapy. Also provides onsite lab, ultrasound, STD testing, COVID-19 testing and vaccines, health education/groups, blood pressure screening, and free walk-in pregnancy testing. Provides transportation assistance to help clients get to appointments and referral assistance. A medically supervised 16-bed detox center adjoined to the back of UConnectCare's Atwater Community Residence in Batavia. Provides a continuum of care under one roof to enable people in need to access short-term (usually 3-7 days) detoxification treatment and services. Center is fully staffed by medical and substance use counseling professionals specially trained and certified to assist people who require short-term services. Care and treatment includes meeting with a counselor every day, participating in individual and group therapy sessions, and receiving support from peer advocates prior to medically-assisted treatment. After detoxification, patients can transition to the Atwater Community Residence, a 17-bed facility for men and women that provides counseling and treatment services for up to a six-month stay (see separate listing for details on Atwater Community Residence). HOURS: Intake: Monday-Friday, 9am-11am. Inpatient Care: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Substance use evaluations for individuals in need of withdrawal and stabilization services (detox). Offers medically managed treatment to safely assist patients who are experiencing withdrawal from alcohol and/or other substances. An interdisciplinary team is available to assist patients in managing their moderate to severe withdrawal symptoms. Care and treatment includes psychosocial assessment, medical history and physical, individual therapy, group counseling, medication for addiction treatment, peer support, and referral and linkages to aftercare treatment programs. ##REENTRY##

A 24-hour crisis stabilization center supporting children, adolescents, and adults experiencing mental health or substance use crises. Offers a range of services, including voluntary behavioral interventions, psychosocial assessments, counseling, medication support and management, support for mild to moderate withdrawal or intoxication (including medication-assisted treatment and withdrawal management), and short-term stabilization for up to 23 hours and 59 minutes.
