A program, in collaboration with the Mamaroneck school system, to educate school students on the dangers and impact of alcohol and drug use and addiction.

Educates youth about the dangers of alcohol and drug abuse, and ways in which to resist becoming involved with them, and helping those who are struggling with addiction.

Programs offered include licensed after school and recess camp programs, adult and youth tennis, swimming lessons, water aerobics, lap swim, after-school gym programs, toddler programs, Badminton, adult floor hockey, basketball, volleyball, dodgeball, youth basketball lessons, open basketball, and floor hockey. Playground and playmobile (mobile playground) available. Concerts in the parks and various special events offered during the year. Programs for adults with disabilities include social program, crafts, and Special Olympics training in basketball, track, and swimming. Programs for youth with disabilities include social programs, Special Olympics training, basketball, track, and swimming during summer. Services available for dropouts/early school intervention/first offenders. Youth programs provided at 4 community centers/sites. Programs aim to unite community resources, aid disadvantaged youth, and prevent drug abuse. YES program is an employment program for teens/young adults. Resident ID cards issued annually. Provides alcohol and substance use prevention / early intervention programming for schools. Offers alternative activities such as coordinating youth projects, community education on alcohol, substances, and gambling prevention, and family intervention services.

Educates high school students about alcohol and drug abuse and offers help if they are struggling with addiction.

Program provides education and information to youth, from elementary to college, and to the community. Through the use of presentations, films, group exercises, and other audio-visual aides, young people are provided with factual information about alcohol and substance abuse. Services to adults are provided through community, civic, social, government, business, and service organizations. The program raises community awareness about alcohol and substance abuse as being a treatable disease. Maintains a pamphlet library, shows films, distributes information, and provides a newsletter.

Provides Philipstown residents with a place within the community to access programs, services and education related to behavioral health and addiction, which include information on treatment and recovery resources, guidance and support for families, direct referrals to service providers.

An interactive program that consists of 7-10 lessons taught once a week by prevention educators. It focuses on developing personal and interpersonal skills to resist pressures to use drugs and engage in negative behaviors. Skills include: goal setting, decision-making, bonding with others, identifying and managing emotions, and communicating effectively.

Provide education and information to all age groups regarding refusal skills, identification, general information, and laws pertaining to drug use.

Offers a 10-week program where police officers educate middle and high school students about the dangers of alcohol and drug abuse, along with building self esteem and skills to resist peer pressure and intimidation.

Functions as an outpatient satellite of The Zucker Hillside Hospital. Offers several levels of treatment geared to the individual needs of adults experiencing difficulty due to their use of drugs or alcohol. DWI and court evaluations performed early intervention, outpatient treatment, intensive outpatient treatment, partial hospitalization available. Also offers evaluation, crisis intervention, referral, psychiatric evaluation, medication management, individual, group and family therapy, vocational evaluation, vocational counseling, activities therapy and toxicology testing.
