Provides research-based informal education programs that encourage girls to take risks and master physical, intellectual, and emotional challenges. Programs address math and science education, pregnancy and drug abuse prevention, media literacy, economic literacy, adolescent health, violence prevention, and sports participation.

Provides Narcan (nalaxone) training and kits, including virtual trainings and one-on-one trainings in person. Offers information on how to become a certified NYS Certified Opioid Overdose Responder.

Provides support and education to develop the skills students need to make healthy decisions when facing the increasing challenges of stress, peer pressure, and temptations, and to learn to treat others respectfully and get along peacefully.

* Provides access to MOUD (Medications for Opiate Use Disorder) - Suboxone. * Offers overdose prevention training, overdose aftercare counseling, drug checking, and safety planning services. * Offers on-site free Narcan (naloxone) training and kit access. * Assists individuals with accessing other substance use treatment services. * Offers training to providers to ensure cultural comprehensiveness of services for medical, behavioral health, and substance use services for people who use and inject drugs.

Adult fingerprinting. Crime prevention. Neighborhood watch. Personal safety. School Resource Officer Program (SRO) assigned to Auburn Schools and a one-on-one approach to community neighborhood problems.

* Links to over 700 registered opioid overdose prevention programs throughout NYS provide free training and furnish free or with health insurance - low costs- naloxone kits to the community.* Offers Opioid Overdose Program Directory: https://providerdirectory.aidsinstituteny.org/ * Offers Naloxone Co-payment Assistance Program (N-CAP), a pharmacy benefit for all New Yorkers who have prescription coverage through their health insurance plans. Co-payments for naloxone in an amount up to $40 for each prescription dispensed will be billed to N-CAP, not to the individual getting naloxone. Naloxone, the drug that reverses overdoses from opioids such as heroin and many prescribed pain relief medications, is now available in more than 2,600 pharmacies throughout New York State. Individuals at risk for an overdose or their family members or friends may acquire naloxone in these pharmacies without bringing in a prescription.
