Co-payments for naloxone in an amount up to $40 for each prescription dispensed will be billed to N-CAP, not to the individual getting naloxone. Naloxone, the drug that reverses overdoses from opioids such as heroin and many prescribed pain relief medications, is now available in more than 2,600 pharmacies throughout New York State. Individuals at risk for an overdose or their family members or friends may acquire naloxone in these pharmacies without bringing in a prescription. Provides prevention and support services for adolescents ages 12 to 17 years and young adults ages 18 to 21 years, who have or are at risk of developing a substance use disorder.

Advocacy and education aimed at prevention of substance and alcohol abuse. Information and referral and support for individuals and families in need of treatment. Assistance in identifying characteristics of addiction and how to intervene in order to encourage someone to attend treatment.

3-4 Session program for teens ages 12-19 which provides education, support and motivation to reduce their substance use. Note: These sessions are currently offered in virtual settings.

The certified DRE is an extremely valuable tool for combating the adverse impact of drugs on the communities we serve.

Provides a school-based alcohol and substance abuse prevention program to elementary schools. Activities include classroom presentation, teacher and professional training's, skill development workshops, health promotions and community awareness events.

Provides a specialized drug and alcohol abuse education program geared towards school students, which includes building self esteem and skills to resist peer pressure.

Four-session program for elementary school students that introduces the basic facts about alcohol and other drugs. Students learn techniques alcohol companies use to sell their products and about how to become wise consumers. Curriculum also includes cyber safety and how to be a good digital citizen.
