Offers medically managed treatment to safely assist patients who are experiencing withdrawal from alcohol and/or other substances. An interdisciplinary team is available to assist patients in managing their moderate to severe withdrawal symptoms. This 14-16 month program is made up of three phases. During the Crisis Phase, which lasts 6-8 weeks, individuals live in home-like atmospheres, sharing work assignments and are introduced to curriculum, Bible Studies, and Christian lifestyles. In the Induction Phase, which runs 4-5 months, students complete the 14 Group Studies for New Christians' and Character Quality classes. During this phase discipline and order are taught through the development and application of Christian Principles. Upon completion of the Induction Phase, male students complete the program at either the Long Island Center or the Training Center in Rehrersburg, Pennsylvania where they continue Bible Studies, attend workshops, and are provided vocational training opportunities. Female students continue the program at the main site Ladies Residence.

Provides a continuum of care under one roof to enable people in need to access short-term (usually 3-7 days) detoxification treatment and services. Center is fully staffed by medical and substance use counseling professionals specially trained and certified to assist people who require short-term services. Care and treatment includes meeting with a counselor every day, participating in individual and group therapy sessions, and receiving support from peer advocates prior to medically-assisted treatment. After detoxification, patients can transition to the Atwater Community Residence, a 17-bed facility for men and women that provides counseling and treatment services for up to a six-month stay (see separate listing for details on Atwater Community Residence). HOURS: Intake: Monday-Friday, 9am-11am. Inpatient Care: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
