Maintains the Wantagh Museum and engages in other activities to improve the historical and environmental values of the community. The WPS is responsible for maintaining the museum grounds that include: Old Wantagh Rail Road Station; “Jamaica” Parlor Car and Recreated 1904 Wantagh Post Office. In addition to being open on Sunday afternoons from mid-April to mid-October, the Museum hosts many special events throughout the year. Offers an outstanding program for adults at the Riverhead campus. CCR is a self-directed learning center for retirees. Members act together to design their own programs and contribute as presenters and discussion participants. CCR is educational and entertaining and stimulating and fun. If you are a retired person who seeks intellectual stimulation, meeting new people and active involvement, CCR is for you! As a CCR member, you are involved in a variety of activities: Presentations by members and discussions covering a wide variety of interesting topics; Member-led classes on each semester’s topics; Lectures by guest speakers; Day trips to museums, art galleries, and historic sites; Summer get-togethers at CCR member residences and Mid-term and end-of-term luncheons. Members share responsibility in curriculum planning, subject selection, and class presentations. Preserves town government records, collects, catalogues, and preserves the history of the Town of Southampton. Accessible by appointment only.

Brings outstanding local and nationally known artists and their work to the college in order to enrich the experiences of students, faculty, and the surrounding communities. The galleries also serve as a venue for the exhibition of artwork done by Suffolk's students and faculty. Compiles detailed historical information regarding the town through research and interviews. Provides information to local media, organizations, institutions and residents on historical aspects of the town and its citizens.

Provides a full range of entitlement counseling, including Medicare, Medicaid, Veterans Benefits, tax abatement, educational lectures, and on-going care givers support groups. Program also includes a referral service for home care assistance and non-emergency medical transportation. A food pantry is available to those who are eligible on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Offers full and half day week long summer camp for children of all ages who have a passion for art. Camp begins July 6 through Aug 28, 2015.

Dedicated to the restoration, preservation and interpretation of the history and artifacts pertaining to railroads which participated in the growth of Long Island, its communities and industries for the entertainment, edification and good of present and future generations. Also has a gift shop and tours.

Offers a meeting room to local residents and non-profit organizations. Also has a gallery area to exhibit the work of local artists.

Houses a local history collection, the Bob Muller Long Island Lighthouse collection, and an Irish History and Culture collection. The Local History Room also houses the collection and materials of the East Islip Historical Society. The Historical Society also provides ongoing displays, exhibits and volunteers are available Wednesdays and Saturdays from 2pm-4pm.

Located on North Shore of Long Island Sound, one of Southold's seven existing lighthouses. Nautical museum displays a unique collection of museum owned and patron loaned lighthouse and early marine artifacts.
