Works to discover and collect material that may help to establish or illustrate the history of the Town of Vestal and surrounding areas.Vestal Museum is located in the original 1881 Vestal Train Station which was located on the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad near Main Street. Group tours welcome.

Houses a local history collection, the Bob Muller Long Island Lighthouse collection, and an Irish History and Culture collection. The Local History Room also houses the collection and materials of the East Islip Historical Society. The Historical Society also provides ongoing displays, exhibits and volunteers are available Wednesdays and Saturdays from 2pm-4pm.
