Offers an interactive facility where individuals, families and groups can experience first-hand the proud tradition of firefighting in our communities. Visitors can also trace the history of firefighting in Nassau County with hands-on exhibits that feature antique and contemporary fire apparatus and gear. The Center offers interactive fire safety programs for Pre-K through high school students. These programs are taught by a current or retired firefighter in our interactive theater. In addition, the Center offers guided and non-guided tours to groups of all types. From Cub Scouts and summer camps to retirement communities and community organizations, group tours of the Museum promises to be a fun and educational experience for visitors of all ages.
