STALLER CENTER FOR THE ARTS | STONY BROOK UNIVERSITY

Offers performances that educate, enlighten and entertain audiences across the University, greater community and region. We produce and present outstanding and diverse professional and university sponsored performances, exhibits and educational programs in the areas of music, dance, theater, film, and fine art. Choose from dozens of reasonably-priced performances and order tickets online or by phone. You can also see top-rated movies, enjoy the Metropolitan Opera Live in HD, and hear performances by the Department of Music stars. In addition an Arts & Education Outreach program is available. All Staller Center Arts and Education Outreach programs are free of charge to the campus and community and fully supported by generous private donations to the Barbara N. Wien Fund and the Educational Outreach Endowment from individuals who value advancing the arts in young people’s lives. The Staller Center is dedicated to providing cultural arts experiences and educational opportunities to the local community and Stony Brook University students of all ages from preschool through young adult. Some Educational Outreach programs include: First on Us, Seats 4 Students, Staller Kids Series, Virtual Educational Resources and the ever-popular Instrument Petting Zoo. POLLOCK-KRASNER HOUSE AND STUDY CENTER | POLLOCK-KRASNER HOUSE AND STUDY CENTER

Sponsors programs on art and art history for the scholarly community and for the general public. Houses research collections on the art of Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner and their contemporaries. Located in East Hampton, the center is open to the public: May to October; Tuesdays-Sundays. The center, a National Historic Landmark, is operated as an historic site and research facility, and consists of the artists' house, their studio, and the study center containing the art reference library. FOLK AND TRADITIONAL ARTS PROGRAM | ARTS MID-HUDSON

This program researches, documents, promotes and presents the folk and traditional arts of the diverse populations of Mid-Hudson region. They identify tradition bearers and folk artists within the community and present them in public programs such as concerts, library programs and festivals.

Assists and supports artists who live and/or work in the Town of Brookhaven. Provides regularly scheduled art exhibitions, workshops for adults and children in visual and performing arts, the annual Choral Festival at Brookhaven and much more.

ART GALLERIES | MICHAEL J. GRANT CAMPUS

Brings outstanding local and nationally known artists and their work to the college in order to enrich the experiences of students, faculty, and the surrounding communities. The galleries also serve as a venue for the exhibition of artwork done by Suffolk's students and faculty. Receptions and lectures are usually held in conjunction with most exhibits, all of which are free and open to the public. Check the Arts and Entertainment Schedule for upcoming art exhibits. Galleries include the Maurice N. Flecker Memorial Gallery located on the Ammerman Campus, The Lyceum Gallery located on the Eastern Campus and Sagtikos Art Gallery located on the Grant Campus. ISLIP ART MUSEUM | BROOKWOOD HALL

Managed by the Islip Arts Council, the museum presents four exhibitions of contemporary art. The Council also offers a year-round schedule of workshops, trips, lectures and fine arts classes for children and adults. Contains gift shop.

SPRINGBOARD MURAL PROJECT | OSWEGO COUNTY YOUTH BUREAU

Provides an opportunity for Oswego youth to design and paint murals on the concrete walls along Linear Park on the West Side of Oswego. The project was created to clean up graffiti in the city.
