Provides financial support to Westchester-based artists and cultural organizations in several categories including: Basic Program Support, Project Support, and Arts Alive which supports communit-based arts activities and the creation of new work by artists. ArtsWestchester also provides grants to artists to conduct residencies in schools, community sites, and human service agencies. To be eligible artists must apply to and be accepted onto ArtsWestchesterâs Directory of Teaching artists.
Works to access resources to fund programs of not-for-profit agencies that hold true to the United Way initiatives of education, income and health.
Awards annual grants to non-profit organizations and/or individual artists to help strengthen the arts and cultural programs in their communities. Considers applicants' quality of programming, community support, and professionalism in making funding decisions, and awards grants on recommendation of a seven-member panel of local artists, community leaders, and others from throughout Suffolk County. Grants range from $500 to $5,000.

Green retail clothing boutique, open to the public, selling new and second-hand women's clothes at affordable prices.Facility for low-income women who are displaced homemakers or food stamp recipients enrolled in the retail training program to practice customer service skills and gain hands-on experience in retailing. Program teaches customer service, inventory management, Point of Sale software, marketing and small business operations.Clothing and monetary donations and volunteers welcome.
