The Downtown Ithaca Alliance serves the stakeholders in the 22 blocks of Downtown by providing a variety of programs and activities focused on obtaining a healthy and viable Downtown.

Provides a unique networking forum for people of all professions to regularly meet and do business with one another to foster Long Island's continued commercial and industrial growth and development period.

Improves substandard living conditions and revitalizes commercial centers, establishes programs to provide employment training and to prevent and treat problems of the disadvantaged, advises town government on policies for new and improved services, and facilities, and manages and coordinates homesteading and other federal and state housing programs.

Coordinates critical services and information to promote sustainable growth, expand the tax base, and preserve and improve the overall quality of life in Nassau County.
