Offers a number of financing instruments and economic incentives to sustain, develop and attract stable economic development opportunities while focusing on major assets, retention/expansion projects, quality of life and job creation.

The center is staffed by professionals with knowledge and experience to provide expert counseling and training for addressing the myriad of problems inherent in the start up and operation of small business. Services, all free of charge, include assistance with Business Plan Development, Small Business Start-Up assistance, Organizational Structures, Financial Planning, Export Assistance, Cost Analysis, Financing Strategies, Loan Information Assistance, Marketing, and Training Programs. Through implementation of various technical and financing programs the department acts as a one-stop resource for all type of business sectors and their respective needs. We assist private enterprise, not-for-profit organizations and municipalities in the production of workforce housing that offers opportunities for our highly educated and skilled workforce to remain here in Suffolk County. Through various grants the department encouraging tourism and downtown revitalization both which support the quality of life our residents have come to enjoy and expect.
