Off-site swimming pool offers open swim year-round, lap and family swims, lifeguard training, and swim lessons.

Provides training, education, support, and networking to students and staff at Long Island High Schools who wish to establish a gay-straight alliance (GSA). Alliances provide a safe place for gay and non-gay students and increase awareness of the various challenges facing gay and lesbian students. Call for information.

Provides hot lunch 5 times a week to seniors 60 years of age and older. Walk in, call. Minority/low income population in 2 subsidized housing complexes are targeted for hot lunch, programs and social services. This program is partially funded by the Nassau County Department of Senior Affairs as a Senior Community Service Center.

The Middle School Mingle was created by one of our Girl Scout Gold Award winners, Nia Mack, offering middle school students an opportunity to socialize in a safe space. Students will have an opportunity to partake with jumbo games like Uno, Jenga, Connect Four and so much more. Students will reveive a snack and a beverage. A $1 donation will be requested to go toward a coordinated event by the middle schoolers that attend our mingle.
Offers a location for seniors to engage in recreational and social activities once a week. Senior can participate in games, ceramics, luncheons, and low impact exercise classes.

Offers services for gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender and questioning youth (13-21) in order to foster a positive sense of self, reduce isolation and address high risk behaviors. There are two after school drop in centers, weekly support groups, individual counseling and advocacy, family counseling, education workshops, social activities and networking meetings to help foster alliances with other gay/straight teens.

A collaboration with O.C.A.D.A. A substance-free performance program run by teens, for teens. Ages 13-18. Weekly planning meetings held every Tuesday night at Nyack Center at 5:30. This is a free program.
