Provides the residents of Nassau County with a constituent centered and holistic approach to the delivery of services and information through and between its Office for the Aging, Office of Mental Health, Chemical Dependency, and Developmental Disabilities Service, Office for the Physically Challenged, and Office of Youth Services. Rents, sells, repairs and installs new and used mobility equipment such as wheelchairs, scooters, ramps, stair, patient and pool lifts and medical equipment to individuals on Long Island and the tri-state area. Offers the services of a certified aging-in-place specialist to assist with an evaluation of the individuals's living situation, recommendation of medical equipment and mobility products and provides information on assisted living and senior care services.
