Provides information and referrals to available community resources in the area that may meet needs of callers.

Manages and operates a statewide help-by-telephone service called 2-1-1 Infoline that assists anyone looking for any service anywhere in the Tri-borough (Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, parts of Long Island) of New York. 2-1-1 provides information, referral, and assistance with Health and Human services in these areas with specialized information in child development, child care services, and children's health insurance programs.

Alamo provides information and referrals, for community resources, especially those needed by migrant or farm workers and the rural poor, including English classes and immigrant application assistance.

Provides daily hot meals in a social atmosphere. People can also opt to order frozen meals to take home. After school program offered for youth during the school year and 6 week summer camp offered when school not in session. Additional services include a private book club, bible study, exercise group, licensed daycare, community resource information, line dancing, and daily activities for seniors. Services provided on a case-by-case basis after assessment. Emergency assistance may include information, advocacy, referrals, emergency food, personal care toiletries, diapers (through Every Bottom Covered), clothing, household items, prescription medications, budgeting assistance, and utility payment assistance (Neighbor for Neighbor Heat Fund and Care and Share; see separate listings on these programs). Care Managers help families and their children achieve wellness goals by providing support and service navigation with various health and social care systems and other resources. Also provides a care management program centered around helping seniors access benefits, transportation, health care, and social services. Fair Housing Advocacy Program assists individuals who feel they are victims of discrimination when purchasing or renting a home. Provides information, assessment, and referral to the appropriate federal, state, or local human rights agency or court. Provides housing location services and landlord/tenant advocacy. Individual advocacy, information and referral, application assistance, asset management, and budget counseling are also available.

Provides rent, mortgage, and utility payment assistance to low income individuals and families when funds are available; funds are currently unavailable. Also distributes food donations (separate from pantry services) three days per week; first come, first served. Items and quantities vary each week according to donations received, and are given out until they're gone. Provides back rent, mortgage, and utility payment assistance to low income residents of Niagara Falls when funds are available; funds are currently unavailable. Provides information, assessment, and referral to the appropriate federal, state, or local human rights agency or court. Housing location services and landlord/tenant advocacy also provided. Provides information and referral regarding human service organizations and services available to assist Niagara County residents. This is not a crisis counseling line.

Provides the following services: advocacy, information and referral, food pantry, limited emergency funds, bus tokens for transportation, employment programs, and companionship. Also offers bereavement counseling.

Maintains a comprehensive database of Health and Human Service agencies and programs and also functions as one of the primary sources which links these services to the providers in the community, including disaster or weather related or information, such as road and bridge closures or other problems caused by the weather or other natural disasters.

Provides information and referral to public and private agencies for landlord/tenant disputes, abuse, marital problems, child care, elder care concerns, housing needs, unemployment and weather related emergencies.

Offers assistance to those living within parish boundaries with food from the food pantry, advocacy, referrals and information for services such as utilities, Department of Social Services, healthcare, transportation, tax information, government services and senior advocacy.

Assists local residents with information and referrals to resources in the community for other health and human service needs.
