Offers workshop for children ages 5-8 and 9-12 (parents included). This program provides education and support to families. Topics include building healthy friendships, communication skills, understanding and expressing feelings, dealing with teasing and bullies, and more. Discussion groups, creative arts, games and hands-on activities are utilized to increase understanding and strengthen social skills. The Parent Component offers support and guidance to parents, and provides practical skills for helping their child in a variety of situations. The Parent Component meets at the same time the children's program runs.

Children and adolescents with HIV infection and other diseases that lead to secondary, not genetically defined immune defects, are evaluated and treated. Physicians, Nurse Specialists, Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, Social Workers and Laboratory Technologists formulate treatment protocols for these children.

Pediatric specialists, evaluate children with genetically defined, primary immune defects that lead to recurrent serious infection in childhood and adolescents. For these patients, bone marrow transplant or gene therapy, where appropriate, are used for immune reconstitution.

Designed to educate divorcing or separating parents on the impact of their breakup on their children. Teaches techniques to reduce the stress of family changes and protect children from the negative effects of ongoing conflict in order to foster and promote childrens healthy adjustment and development. Operates tennis clinic offering complete program of eight one-hour lessons for beginners/advanced beginners ages 5 years old to adult. Operates four 12 to 16 hour tennis camps: Junior Development Camp for players with some prior instruction, Advanced Camp for Junior Varsity or Varsity level players, Adult Camp for adults with some prior instruction, and Adult Mini-Camp (shortened schedule). Provides a certified teacher as a tutor for students in elementary school who are residents of the Patchogue-Medford School District.
