Offers a bereavement group for persons who have lost a loved one. Led by a certified professional grief therapist. Bereavement services may include weekly individual and group counseling sessions, special groups sessions for children. Training for grief and bereavement therapy for counselors, educators, therapists and other health care professionals. The Food Allergy Center is a comprehensive center for children with food allergies. Skin and CAP RAST testing, along with double blind, placebo controlled food challenges, are performed to identify allergy triggers. The staff provides counseling, educational materials and support to patients and families.

Offers monthly 4 hour respite for children with disabilities and their siblings enrolled in program. Parents drop off their children, who are cared for by Director of LITLC, students from Lynbrook High School, and other communities. Program includes dinner, crafts, music, and playtime.

We offer IEP-based Occupational and Physical Therapy services including evaluations, individual and group therapy and consultation with treatment team members and family. We serve adult participants though our Article 16 Clinic. Occupational therapy services promote functional abilities and engagement in daily routines. Occupational therapists may asses an individual's ability to perform ADL's and develop adaptions in order for the participant to be successful and the MOST independent in eating, dressing, grooming, toileting and hygiene. OT services also focus on sensory integration, play/leisure skills, gross and fine motor skills, prevocational /vocational skills, social interaction skills and psychosocial issues. Physical Therapy services provide support for students so they may more fully participate in the curriculum and the school day routine. services focus on the impact the the physical disability has on classroom performance rather than on the disability itself. Physical Therapists work on addressing balance, gait, motor planning, posture, navigating and accessing school environment, strength, and endurance.

Offers non intensive outpatient substance use disorder treatment including: group and individual treatment, psychiatric evaluation, medication management and medication assisted therapy.Licensed by The New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (NYS OASAS).

Provides free HIV testing and support services in a confidential setting to Nassau County residents. No appointment necessary, walk-ins are welcome. Testing is currently conducted in the Hempstead office. Staff also provides PrEP/PEP enrollment to prevent HIV infection in high-risk clients.
