Seeks to promote the physical, mental and social well being of youth in the town of Southold. Through collaboration and partnerships with youth, parents, schools, libraries, forth based institutions and agencies that serve youth. The Youth Bureau fosters proactive planning and coordination of services and programs to address the many needs of youth and their families.

Provides information, referral, assessments and evaluations for children with suspected delays in physical, cognitive, language or emotional development. To accomplish this, the Youth Bureau finds three community-based youth service agencies. They provide counseling, tutoring, mentoring, job readiness, after school program, leadership programs, volunteer activities, drop-in lounge, open gyms and summer day and evening programs.
